What is a Medical Facial?  If you have ever had a facial, it probably involved dim lights, soft spa music and lots of good smelling potions!  Well, a medical facial is a bit different.  It starts with a consultation with a licensed medical aesthetician during which you will discuss any concerns you have about your skin.  She will make observations and recommendations and may even pull in the doctor for a medical evaluation.  You will definitely get a chance to relax, but the facial will be customized for your skin specifically and may include exfoliation, extractions, light peels, LED lights and even vacuum assisted extractions all designed to result in better skin.  So, even though you will be relaxed, the focus of a medical facial is results driven.  The facial will end with recommendations for home care and follow up.
