What is a Medical Facial?  If you have ever had a facial, it probably involved dim lights, soft spa music, and lots of good-smelling potions!  Well, a medical facial is a bit different.  It starts with a consultation with a licensed medical aesthetician during which you will discuss any concerns you have about your skin.  She will make observations and recommendations and may even pull in the doctor for a medical evaluation.  You will definitely get a chance to relax, but the facial will be customized for your skin specifically and may include exfoliation, extractions, light peels, LED lights, and even vacuum-assisted extractions all designed to result in better skin.  So, even though you will be relaxed, the focus of a medical facial is results-driven.  The facial will end with recommendations for home care and follow-up.
