Sofwave™ is the latest technology to revitalize the skin through innovative stimulation of the production of new collagen. Sofwave™’s Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam Technology is FDA cleared for lifting and tightening the eyebrow, midface, jawline and neck area.

While the treatment is based on the same science as Ultherapy, the Sofwave technology allows for a quicker treatment and requires only one session. Since the ultrasound beams are much more precisely focused to target the mid-dermis, the treatment is much more comfortable than the older, outdated Ultherapy treatment.

Dr. King recommends a full face and neck treatment once a year to stimulate collagen and prevent skin laxity and stabilize collagen loss associated with aging and UV exposure.

Expect a bit of redness and an overall tighter look to the skin for the remainder of the day.

Skip exercise for the rest of the day.

Perform your normal skincare routine that night.

There may be some mild swelling the next morning, but otherwise there will be no evidence that you had a treatment.

You can expect tightening of the skin and a lifting affect over the next 6-8 weeks.

Baseline photographs of the treatment will be taken.

A thin layer of numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area

You may be administered a dose of Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen

You will relax for 30 minutes while the numbing cream takes affect.

The treatment area will be cleaned and ultrasound gel will be applied.

The Sofwave treatment is performed at the highest tolerated setting for 2-3 passes over the skin in different directions to get the best possible collagen structure.
